Client Introduction

Tom Kolega is the author of the Contra Alliance trilogy.

Project Overview

Tom needed a blog that would allow him to interact with his fans and build a community around his labor of love – a trilogy of science fiction novels. He wanted to be able to maintain the site himself on an ongoing basis.

I worked as a consultant to help him install WordPress, built a custom theme, and showed him the ropes of managing a WordPress installation on his own.

The Contra Alliance blog is a customized WordPress installation that relies on a combination of plugins to allow nearly everything to be controlled from the admin panel, without knowing coding or requiring the modification of template files.
